Bureau Cards Posted By @m0oxo and @m0urx

Quite incredible to think that with LoTW radio amateurs seem to still love the paper QSL. Just this last weekend it was time for another dispatch of bureau cards posted to 89 World Bureaus with a joint mailing between M0OXO Charles and M0URX Tim.

Total amount of QSL cards sent 16,521
Via M0URX 11,141
Via M0OXO 5,380
Total Weight 67 kg

As we are not permitted to send such volumes through the RSGB Bureau of course, we set up a few years ago our own outgoing bureau system which is working very well.

All QSL cards are sent using Business Air Mail to keep the cards moving quickly through the system and not stuck in shipping containers where they could get damaged.

I welcome any DXer or DXpeditioner to use this service, of course there is a charge as I have to pay for the carriage, certainly far cheaper than sending yourself to the world bureaus and a fast service in return.

I will be at the RSGB Convention if anyone wants to use the service. I am happy to take bundles of cards off you for dispatch, the more the better, no weight limits no size restrictions.

Just contact me off reflector for the costs.

Please note that I make no money from the service, just a service to help get your bureau cards to the recipient.

Next dispatch is expected December / January.

Kindest Regards, Tim Beaumont MØURX
